At GalgoPod.org, our mission is simple:
To increase AWARENESS about the plight of Galgos – Spanish greyhounds – and of the Podencos, another Spanish hunting breed that also faces a grim future.
To promote ADVOCACY for laws to protect these elegant creatures, thousands of which are killed, tortured or abandoned in Spain each year.
To encourage ADOPTION of the hundreds of dogs rescued each year, because Galgos and Pods make great pets.
